When I arrived in the United States, I couldn’t speak English or say a single sentence. Today, I can share my thoughts with confidence. Being far from home can make you feel lost, but at High Expectations I always had someone helping me. They’re more than a school — they’re a family.

“If you want to learn English as your second language, you should definitely come — because here you'll feel like you're part of the family. The teachers make you feel very comfortable, and they're super open-minded. You don't have to be afraid of how or when you speak — whatever questions you ask, they'll answer. I really feel part of the family, and it's been really good.”

I have to say that I’m leaving with a great sense of satisfaction after seeing how much I’ve improved my English. I believe the school offers a very innovative and effective way to learn the language. In addition, I really appreciated all the activities they organized, such as celebrating American holidays, which helped us become part of the culture while also teaching us more about American traditions.
