Our mission is to support international and immigrant students in becoming college- and career-ready by removing barriers to their academic, economic, and personal advancement. We deliver this through student-centered, research-driven instruction and programming that integrates language development with cultural and societal engagement in the United States.

Three schedules. Same program.

All three schedules deliver 18 hours of instruction a week. Pick the days and class times that fit your life — you can switch schedules between sessions.

Levels

Ten CEFR levels, from beginner to proficient.

Every student takes a short placement test on their first visit. We start you at the level where you’ll learn the most — not the one that’s most flattering. A 75% final grade advances you to the next level each session.

How to enroll

Three steps to your seat in the IELP.

New sessions start every 11 weeks — enroll right away, or pick the next one that fits your schedule.

  1. Visit, call, or email

    Reach out to schedule a placement test. We’ll confirm your time and walk you through what to bring.

  2. Complete the placement test

    A short conversation plus a brief written test — about 30 minutes — so we start you at the right level.

  3. Complete your application and enroll

    Submit your application and finish enrollment. F-1 students receive their I-20 once enrollment is complete.
