Test of English as a Foreign Language is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. High Expectations offers TOEFL courses for International students to achieve this goal. The TOEFL test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. It evaluates how well you combine your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.
High Expectations offers SAT courses to help students to 1) improve integrated skills and language proficiency for academic readiness in American colleges and universities, 2) improve oral fluency for personal and academic purposes. Specifically, the educational goal of the SAT Program is to help international students acquire skills and knowledge assessed by the SAT and become college ready in the U.S. The Institution allocates resources to the development of curricula and cultural activities that enable students to expand their English language competency and transcend cultural barriers.
High Expectations offers English language and academic courses to help students to master the academic reading skills and build vocabulary for academic purposes, learn grammar and language usage of standard English, practice writing for academic purposes, and learn strategies for taking the ACT exams. Specifically, the educational goal of the ACT Program is to help international students acquire skills and knowledge assessed by the ACT and to become college ready in the U.S.
